HCG and the Science of Homeopathy
HCG is an abbreviation for human chorionic gonadotropin and produced by women in pregnancy. But as a weight control agent it is equally useful for both men and women.
Clinics and physicians have used the HCG protocol successfully for many years. Precise injections of this hormone in combination of a strict lean diet have brought about life changing results for many people, even those who have tried several different diets before. As this treatment is a bit expensive for losing weight, laboratories created a homeopathically prepared natural remedy that can be used without the medical supervision. Furthermore, through the homeopathic process, toxic side effects have been eliminated.
This naturally occurring hormone was discovered about 60 years ago and is created by the female body to nourish and protect the fetus by taking the fat reserves stored by the mother. These fats are then converted to nutrition for the placenta. The conclusion was: If this hormone could actually drain fat cells and transform to useful nutrition, it could possibly help people with obesity.
Be aware that there are three types of fat with the first two normal for structural support (as buffers). The third (abnormal) type of fat is what forms as extra fat in hips, waist, thighs and buttocks and is not used for anything. This is the only fat consumed by HCG. Low calorie diets alone do not lead to the same results. By simply starving your body, you reduce protein and vitamins. To satisfy its needs the body will convert anything from any type of fat. This is why once you stop a low calorie diet, lean muscles are destroyed and the weight comes right back as abnormal fat. Thus, you only accomplished redistributing the fat.
The HCG fat release program uses three different phases. In phase one, you build up your fat reserves by eating as much as you like for two days while beginning to take HCG drops. Then for the next 23 to 40 day you will take a 500-calorie diet consisting of vegetables, fruits and two meals of 3.5 oz. of protein each, followed by taking the eHCG-drops. Phase two represents the maintenance part of the diet and thereby a new way of living. You can start to relax a little bit on phase two, start by incorporating breakfast and additional foods into your diet that do not contain sugar or starches. You can also add healthy fats in moderation, into your diet (nuts, seeds, coconut oil, avocados and salmon). With phase two you can start with the VLCD and the LCD recipes in the back of the manual. To start off with, begin increasing your caloric count 100-200 calories per day until you reach 1300-1500. Continue to weigh daily during this phase, you should not gain more than two pounds on any given day. If you gain more than two pounds, have a steak day. Eat only a large lean steak for dinner with either a tomato or small apple. This is a 21 day phase that is very important to help your body become comfortable at its new lower weight. You do not take the drops at any point during this portion of the program. Begin introducing moderate exercise into your daily lifestyle. Phase 3 is the final 21 day transition for this cycle. You can now gradually begin introducing complex carbohydrates into your diet (oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes, corn tortillas, honey). Do not introduce more than 1-2 new carbohydrates per week. You can also eat any variation of low glycemic fresh fruit and vegetables that you would like. Recommended calories per day is between 1500-2000 for women and 2000-2250 for men. Incorporate 3 days per week, of at least 30 minutes of physical activity into your new healthy lifestyle. Enjoy and maintain!
Here follow five facts which should show men that they would not have any problems with hCG. They could even have benefits beyond control of their weight.
(1) HCG isn't limited to the mother's body. It also enters the unborn's body and actually stimulates the development of the gonads in the male fetus. As a result, all men have had HCG in their bodies while still in the womb. Furthermore, they wouldn't have certain male organs without it.
(2) HCG has a similar effect in older boys. It stimulates the production of testosterone and can help the testicles develop and descend in adolescent boys with such problems.
(3) At its peak, HCG reaches levels of 288,000 International Units in the pregnant woman's body, and this level has no negative effect on the mother or the fetus. The typical dosage of HCG injections for weight loss is only 125 International Units—that's 2000 times less than the amount in pregnancy.
(4) Oral HCG drops have helped uncounted numbers of men lose weight. There have been no indications of HCG drops causing strange or harmful effects in men. In fact, HCG drops seem to work even better for men than women, since men tend to lose weight faster than women on the HCG diet.
